Cheryl's is fantastic. Our service was fast, friendly, and nothing short of amazing. The sweet-tea taste like Grandma makes it, the rolls are soft and served hot, and the mushroom appetizer is to die for. Cheryl is a master when it comes to cooking the steaks. I ordered the 13oz ribeye steak, and it was awesome. Full of flavor, cooked to perfection, and served hot and juicy. I cannot comment on the desserts, because there was no more room after the main course. From the atmosphere to the service to the food, everything was great. I will definitely be back with an appetite for more.

Four stars for the service. One star for the food. 2.5 star average. We ordered the 8oz and 16oz rib eye. The cut of meat was terrible. It was full of grizzle and only 1/4 inch thick. Of the 8oz, four of it was edible. NOT. WORTH. THE. MONEY. I ordered the green beans and potato soup as sides. The soup was pretty good, the green beans reminded me of the canned green beans my grandmother, god rest her soul, used to serve us from her "back up stock." The beans were overcooked. I could have pressed them with my spoon and fed them to the baby that was with us. Our server was very friendly and speedy. The food, although, less-than-appetizing, came out quickly. FYI for those that like a nice red wine with their steak, this is not the place for you. Beer only. I have been know to throw back a beer (or five), but was hankering for a red wine with my steak. No such luck.

Great steak! Great beans! All the food, short of the rolls were fantastic. The service was phenomenal for a small family owned and ran steakhouse. It's a small venue, but cozy! Cheryl's is a great meal and I will definitely be returning!!

It's not all that! I'm being generous with 3 stars. The food was mediocre at best. Slightly over priced for what you get. The salad was nothing spectacular. I cook better steaks on my grill for sure!!

My family needs to get out more. You would think this was the second coming of jesus the way they talked about this place (just like they did the Shed). We went in with a BIG group (about 15 people) and we got our drinks and orders and whatnot, but it took forever to bring bread which apparently is a theme. If you have more than a few people, they don't like to give you bread. I guess they are trying to save money or something. I ordered a rib eye with a potato and a salad. The salad was nothing to write home about. It was your standard iceberg with a tomato slice and an onion slice. The potato was...well... a potato with all the usual stuff. The steak was really good. It was cooked right and had a good flavor, but it was a little on the thin side for a rib eye. Overall, it was fine.

Since coming to the Ocean Springs area we've heard about Cheryl's. We'd been told that it's THE place to go for a flavorable steak. We didn't pay much attention to what else they serve, but the flavor of the steaks were to absolutely die for. Have to agree that the atmosphere lacks, the salad's plain, served in a laminated pecan bowl, and the breads just about OK. But we came for the steak and will do so again. Good food.
